Family Recovery Out Loud is a coaching practice for families with a loved one struggling with addiction. We’re two coaches who’ve lived this ourselves, walking beside you through a six-session, eight-week program built around what your family can control — steady ground, honest communication, and boundaries that hold. This is coaching, not therapy: no diagnosing, no judgment, just people who understand exactly where you are.

Pam Moleta, NCFRC

Nationally Certified Family Recovery Coach

Pam brings 16 years of lived experience navigating addiction within her own family to her work as a Nationally Certified Family Recovery Coach. A NarAnon family support group leader for over ten years, she has walked alongside countless families as they find their way through the confusion, isolation, and pain that addiction brings — and out the other side into hope and healing. She is trained in a range of evidence-based models, including Motivational Interviewing, Invitation to Change, and 12-Step approaches, blending clinical best practices with the wisdom of lived experience. Pam has been invited to speak to numerous organizations and groups, sharing her story and her family-systems approach to recovery. She co-founded Family Recovery Out Loud, Coaching and Consulting, LLC to give families the support she wished she’d had: practical, compassionate guidance from someone who has truly been there.

On February 15, 2022, Caroline found her son unresponsive, in the middle of an overdose. Four months earlier, she hadn’t even known he was using drugs. That day changed everything she thought she knew about her family and her parenting.

Over the years that followed, she learned how addiction hides in plain sight, how families quietly reorganize their whole lives around it, and how much shame keeps parents from asking for help. She also learned she wasn’t meant to walk through it alone — a family support community taught her the boundaries, the language, and the hope that eventually helped both her son and her find steadier ground. He is now years into his own recovery. Caroline isn’t a clinician, and she’s not here to treat your loved one. She’s here because she’s sat exactly where you’re sitting, and she knows how much it helps to have someone walk beside you who gets it.

Caroline lives, works, and podcasts in Houston, TX.
